Prof. Anu A. Gokhale
Coordinator of the Computer Systems Program at Illinois State University, USA

Dr. Anu A. Gokhale has completed twenty years of university teaching and is currently a professor and coordinator of the computer systems technology program at Illinois State University. Originally from India, she has a master’s degree in physics—electronics from the College of William & Mary, and a doctorate from Iowa State University. Dr. Gokhale presents and publishes her peer-reviewed research, and pursues multi-year projects funded by agencies like the US Department of Education, US Department of State, and National Science Foundation. Dr. Gokhale recently authored a second edition of her book Introduction to Telecommunications, which also has an international edition in Chinese. In recognition of her work over several years, she was honored with the 2011 University Outstanding Researcher Award. Dr. Gokhale has been invited to speak at various conferences; more recently, she was keynote speaker at the IC4E 2011 in Mumbai and ICETC 2010 in Shanghai. She consults for businesses and industries and has delivered multiple workshops and training seminars. Dr. Gokhale is an active volunteer in IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) having served in various roles like Secretary of Central IL Section, R4 Student Activities Chair, R4 Women in Engineering Coordinator, R4 Educational Activities Chair, Conference Chair of International Electro / Information Technology 2010 Conference, and member of the Educational Activities Board, and was honored with the IEEE Third Millennium Medal.

Dr.S.Arumuga perumal

Dr.S.Arumuga Perumal has been working as Reader and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Research in South Travancore Hindu College for the last 24 years. He has completed his M.S. (Software Systems) in BITS, Pilani, M.Phil Computer Science degree in Alagappa University, Karaikudi and Ph.D (Computer Science) in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. He is a senior member of Computer Society of India, Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE and Fellow of IE(I). He has involved in various academic and research activities. He has attended and served as a reviewer in so many national and international seminars, conferences and presented numerous research papers and also published research articles in national and international journals. He is a member of curriculum development committees of various universities and autonomous colleges of Tamilnadu and his area of research specialization is Digital Image compression. He has been awarded Best college Teacher award for the year 2009 by Tamilnadu State Council for Higher Education and IETE National award for his research Contribution from IETE, New Delhi

Dr.R.Sivakumar B.Engg., M.Engg., Ph.D

 Professor Sivakumar is a Professor and Head of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at RMK Engineering College, Tamilnadu, India. He has been teaching in the Electronics and Communication field since 1997. He obtained his Master’s degree and PhD from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. His research interests include Bio Signal Processing, Medical Image Processing, wireless body sensor networks and VLSI. He has published over 16 journal and 35 conference papers over the last several years.  He has taught a wide variety of Electronics courses including Digital Image Processing, Multimedia Compression Techniques, VLSI Design, Medical Electronics and Electronic Circuits. Dr.Siva is a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education, Senior Member of IACSIT and a member of IEEE. Dr.Siva has been invited to Chair and speak at various conferences; more recently, he was Conference Chair at the ICINT 2011, ICDC 2011 in Chennai.
